Dornell Simon was born in Jennings Village, Antigua. She is the daughter of Senior Apostle Worrell Simon and Pastor Kalma Simon of Melting Fire Ministries International. While her mother did not anticipate having another child and had many complications during pregnancy God’s plans superseded that of the enemy. At age 16, Dornell became the main Worship leader at her church.

Throughout the years she has touched many audiences locally and regionally through Prophetic Worship. Her gifting has allowed her to minister with many top local, regional and international artists such as Naycha K.I.D, Carlene Davis, voted Best Female Vocalist in 1990, Bridgette Blucher recipient of 12 Gospel Music Awards and Todd Dulaney American gospel musician, and former baseball player.

Dornell is the winner of the Emerge Gospel Singing Competition 2016 and has been signed to Flow Masters Records. She has since launched her first single “This Joy” and will be sharing the stage with Grammy Award Winner Israel Houghton, Johnathan Nelson, Sherwin Gardner, Positive and many more in this year’s Gospel Fest. She believes that she has been called to the nations and her life has proven that God is God of The Suddenly.
